Waves’n See offer a permanent position for a DevOps !

Our startup is dedicated to coastal video monitoring. We develop computer vision tools to analyse beach erosion, wave parameters and overtopping (storm surge flooding).

From cameras that we install on site or from existing surfcams we process videos and collect images on our cloud servers to extract key coastal indicators.

Our clients have access to a web application to monitor their beach as well as reports.

To face the increasing demands we need to staff our team for the next challenges ahead.

Within a team of 4 ingineers you will participate on :

• the evolution of the software architecture based on open source tools and using the best practice
• setup and contribute to the evolution of the continuous integration infrastructure
• setup monitoring, backup tools to maintain the operability of our systems.

You will be fully involved in the development of our company’s applications within a technical environment including :

• Servers based on the Framework METWORK
• Applications in Python (Pandas, Numpy, OpenCV, Django/Flask, Fast Api
• BDD : PostgreSQL

Abilities

You are curious, autonomuous, you like open source, you know how to administrate a linux server. You have a good grasp of GIT, Docker and English. You like to learn and challenge your knowledge. You can come up with new ideas, present and discuss them within the team .

In constant integration with the Team , your mission will be to facilitate the integration of new developments into the processing chain.

Position based in Toulouse (France) , brut yearly salary 30k€ + profits
